 Response to Chapter 6:
 I would absolutly like to work in a class room with less digital technologies. I think that having the technology is very useful in classroom but only for certain things. Like, I think smart boards would be perfect for classes you can't really play with them secretly and their purpose is for the use in education. But, I think things like digital cameras, smartphones, and mini laptops would be used more as a toy and should only be used at play time, or when the teach says. I think the 3 main technologys that teachers should have are computers, projectors, and white boards or smart boards. I think the smaller things would be nice, but are also more of a distraction.

Response to Chapter 11:
One traditional technology would be talking books by the use of audio tapes, and one emerging technology would be Internet Radio. The talking books could be very useful with students and learning if they dont know how to say a word then eventually they will know how to when the book says it. And, with the internet radio if a teahcer is looking for a specific kind of music all she'll have to do is type it in and she can get many options for whats she's looking for.

One traditional way for video technology would be recorded video or VHS. One emerging video technology would be Internet meetings.  I think teachers could easily use VHS to show older movies that they have or movies that weren't remaid to DVD but still have some educational value to them. Also Internet meetings would be perfect for parents that wouldn't be able to make it to a conference or for students to meet other students from other countries and see how their learning.
